The group Amadeus is performing since 1985. The core of
the group is formed by Brizani
brothers. Bass guitarist Traja Brizani has collaborated with various musical groups and performers of domestic pop and jazz scene for many years. During
all those years he gained
the status of one of the best
instrumentalists in Slovenia.
Besides bass guitar Traja Brizani also plays keyboards.
He is the main composer in the group and
the author of all songs
of their first CD with the title Prisluhni in povej (Hearken and say).
His brother Agim is an excellent
drummer and percussionist with rich musical experiences – as a percussionist
he had played in the Symphony Orchestra. The singer of
the group Amadeus, Sewer Nuhi, contributed his part as a writer of lyrics
for the most of the songs
and as a guitarist. The basic ensemble
is complemented by a keyboard player from Azerbaijchan, Sulejman Zade Fouada. CD Prisluhni in povej (Hearken and say) was
recorded in the Metro Studio and was one of the
most expensive musical projects of that
kind in Slovenia in recent years. There were many
different musicians participating in the recording of the CD. In order to finish
the entire project more then 300 hours of recording
were needed. All the qualities
mentioned above can be heard
on the CD Prisluhni in povej. With
that CD the group Amadeus would like to contribute to the domestic popular music scene with a new and
quality dimension. Their music offers
uncommon melodies for the Slovene
enviroment, rich harmonic and rhythmic combinations, modern arrangement solutions, that includes percussion and brass sections
with perfect production. Traja Brizani took care for
the production and arrangements of the album. Two songs were
produced and arranged by Jože Privšek, who was the
leader of Big Band of Radio and Television of Slovenia for
many years. Also, two well-known and recognized
singers Alenka Godec and
Oto Pestner collaborated on the
album. They also wrote the lyrics
for the songs they are singing. Jani Kenda
